Why boards and managers schedule it
The codes name common areas. Ballwin’s and Kirkwood’s ordinances require dog waste to be picked up immediately in subdivision and condominium common areas, and Wentzville’s covers condominium common elements.
It’s a stormwater issue. MSD’s stormwater plan for St. Louis County lists pet waste among the pollutant sources it targets, because what’s left on the ground washes into the storm sewers when it rains.
It keeps the common areas usable. Residents can walk the grass, and let their kids play on it, without watching every step.
How much does commercial dog waste removal cost?
It depends on the size of the property, how often we visit, and how many pet waste stations there are. We walk the property for free, recommend a visit frequency, and send a written quote.
How often should an HOA or apartment complex have common areas cleaned?
It depends on how many dogs use the common areas. The busiest spots, like the run by the leasing office or the strip along the main walking path, need visits more often than the rest. After the free walkthrough we recommend a frequency and put it in the written quote.
Do you install and service pet waste stations?
Yes. We install, empty, and restock pet waste stations as part of your route.
What happens to the waste?
Every bag leaves with us. It’s hauled off the property, not left in your dumpsters or trash corrals.
Which areas do you cover?
All of St. Louis County and St. Charles County, Missouri. Just outside the line? Call anyway — if we already run a route nearby, we’ll usually say yes.
