The crew behind the scoop

Michael Harvey founded Max’s K9 Club and oversees Max’s Poo Crew. He’s a lifelong dog enthusiast with a deep appreciation for the remarkable abilities of working dogs — a passion that took hold watching search-and-rescue canines work in the days after 9/11.

His career kept him out of the K9 field at the time, but he never let the dream go. Successful real estate and software development businesses eventually gave him the room to build it for real.

Black Labrador. Nationally certified alongside Max in human remains detection.

Both dogs are nationally certified in human remains detection through NASAR, the National Association for Search and Rescue. They’re the namesakes and the mascots of every truck on the road.

Where Max’s Poo Crew Comes In

Max’s Poo Crew is the yard-care arm of Max’s K9 Club. It grew out of a simple observation: the families who trust us with training, boarding, and daycare also wanted their yards to be a safe, clean place for their dogs to be dogs. Same crew, same values — now keeping the grass clean across St. Louis and St. Charles Counties.

We believe that every dog is unique, and we customize our programs to suit their personality, abilities, and goals. With an emphasis on building trust and a strong bond between dog and handler, Max’s K9 Club is the ideal place to help your pup learn, grow, and thrive.
